High school basketball is in full swing across the Hudson Valley and a historic milestone has been reached by a legendary coach.

Jayon Norwood had 20 points and Tymir Greene added 17 as White Plains cruised past a banged up Horace Greeley team 69-37 at the Westchester County Center.

In other boys action, Iona Prep beat their in-town rivals New Rochelle High School 65-38.  Junior Keeshawn Jones had a big game, leading all scorers with 21 points.

On the girl’s side, Ursuline head coach Beth Wooters won her 600th game as her Koalas beat Albertus Magnus 63-58. Ursuline was led by All-American junior Sonia Citron with 26 points and 15 rebounds.
