The SPCA Westchester is looking for a new home for a dog who has been through a lot. The SPCA received a screenshot from one of its rescue partners, which was able to intervene and rescue the dog they now call Murray.
The post said: "Someone come get him today or he will be dropped off on the side of the mountain or shot."

Now the SPCA is hoping someone will find Murray a better situation. He's still recovering from heartworm treatment, but the SPCA hopes someone would be willing to foster him with the intention of adopting him . Rescue workers say it's remarkable he still has faith in people, but he does. Those who can help are asked to stop by the SPCA Westchester to meet him.
