Police confirm that a body was found Wednesday afternoon in a car in Yonkers.
Sources say it is the result of an apparent suicide. Investigators found a note in the car indicating the man was dealing with recent hardships.
The discovery was made Wednesday evening on Kimball Avenue in a parking lot by Scout Field on the Yonkers-Bronxville border.
The entrance to the field was closed for several hours Wednesday as police conducted their investigation.
