The state is currently in phase one of reopening, which includes construction, manufacturing and retail curbside pickup only.
Business owners like Sheryl Glickman, of Notions-N-Potions, say they are willing to take the risk since product pickup isn’t feasible.
“Many items in my store, I could not bring out to the curb. My website unfortunately is not fully up, so I can't even have them shop on the website,” says Glickman.
Some businesses like Locomotive Crossfit plan to wait to reopen, but don't understand why it is being forced to.
"We have a building that's set up with a large bay door that we can open up, create a cross breeze,” says owner Chloe Durant of Locomotive Crossfit. “We have enough space that we can manage social distancing between members."
