Some of California's largest school districts are coming up with a new approach towards grading - by eliminating D and F letter grades.
Students won't be able to receive anything under a C on their assignments and, if they do fail or miss an assignment, they'll be given a do-over or an extension.
The idea is to encourage students to learn the material rather than lose their confidence from a low grade.
