Morning snow followed by deep cold in Westchester

Snow to change over to rain in areas north and west of I-287

The snow will change over to rain late this morning for areas south of I-84 and then continue to change to rain from south to north throughout midday.

Even though the Hudson Valley is officially in Spring, some areas of the region could see a couple inches of snow today before changing over to rain.
News 12 meteorologists say a wet snowfall is expected this morning especially in areas north and west of I-287.
The snow will change over to rain late this morning for areas south of I-84 and then continue to change to rain from south to north throughout midday.
Everyone will see all rain by early afternoon hours. A slushy coating to 1/2 inch expected in most of the Hudson Valley, but up in elevations in Ulster County and the Catskills could pick up 2-4 inches.
Rain will continue throughout the night with rain totals reaching .75 to 1 inch possible.
Tuesday will see a mix of sun and clouds with highs around 54 degrees.
Rain is expected on Wednesday and Thursday.
