Slush and black ice coat Hudson Valley roads
A 24-hour snow event has turned most of Hudson Valley's roadways into slushy, icy messes.
While main highways and parkways have blacktop showing, many side streets still have significant snow and ice on them.
With temperatures at, or near zero, there are dangerous patches of black ice in many areas.
While roads are still slippery, Gov. Cuomo has lifted the tractor-trailer ban on all New York roadways.
