Sheriff’s Office: Orange County inmate dies, no signs of physical trauma or foul play

Yonkers police says the victim was hit around 4 p.m. near 632 Van Cortlandt Park Avenue.

An inmate at the Orange County Jail died unexpectedly on Saturday, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
An autopsy of Jairo Navarro, 30, was completed Tuesday morning by the Orange County Medical Examiner's Office. Preliminary results of the autopsy showed no signs of physical trauma or foul play.
The cause of death will be released pending the results of the toxicology report in the upcoming weeks.
The investigation remains ongoing with the Orange County Sheriff's Office Investigations Division and the Attorney General's Office.
