Secretary of Defense Ash Carter visited with cadets at West Point today.

The visit comes on the heels of a mass casualty terror attack in Brussels this week.

"Yesterday's attacks on Brussels were a grim reminder of how serious are the dangers we face," said Carter. "We must and we will continue to do everything we can to protect our homeland and defeat terrorists."
