The Sea Turtle Recovery Hospital at the Turtle Back Zoo in West Orange is at full capacity, according to officials.

The nonprofit rescues stranded sea turtles across the East Coast. They are currently at capacity with 21 patients in their care – including a 65-pound loggerhead turtle.

Officials with the hospital say many of the turtles are found in critical condition. But thanks to the dedication of the staff, all turtles are improving and are on track to be released back into the wild.
