All of the results from this year's school budget vote are in, and all but four Hudson Valley passed for the 2023-2024 school year.
Budgets in East Ramapo, Elmsford and Minisink Valley were all defeated by voters at the polls. The Blind Brook School District was one of 16 districts statewide, and the only one in the Hudson Valley, proposing to exceed the property tax levy cap.
That means it needed a super majority of 60% to pass its budget - which it did not receive.
