The so-called "Scarsdale Pot Mom" will not be serving any more time behind bars.
A judge sentenced Andrea Sanderlin to time served yesterday after reports she cooperated with federal authorities to take down a larger pot-growing operation. Sanderlin already spent six weeks in jail, and a federal judge says that was enough time behind bars.
Sanderlin was busted in 2013 for running a marijuana-growing operation in Queens. She lived in a $2 million mansion in Scarsdale at the time of her arrest.
The mother of three was charged with running a massive marijuana operation that allowed her to live a life of luxury. Sanderlin was quoted in court saying, "from 2009 to 2013 in Queens, New York, I operated a facility in which I, together with others, grew at least 1,000 marijuana plants and sold the marijuana product from the plants."
