A dedication was held on Tuesday at the Garden of Remembrance in White Plains for a sapling from a special tree.
It was grown from a tree that was referenced three times in Anne Frank's diary – visible from her only window as she hid from the Nazis in Amsterdam during the Holocaust.
The Holocaust and Human Rights Education Center is one of only six organizations in the U.S. to receive a sapling from the Anne Frank Center U.S.A.
