A bank robber is on the run after holding up bank in Rye.
Police say the robbery took place at the Webster Bank on Purchase Street yesterday afternoon.
Officials say the robber didn't get too far after dye packs exploded in the stolen money.
No word on how much money the robber stole or whether he was able to actually take any of it.
