Emergency crews are on the scene of a roof collapse inside two Bronx buildings.
The incident happened at Clara House Bar & Grill and a neighboring corner deli and grocery store on East 180th Street and Arthur Avenue. The surrounding area has been cordoned off.
Police were initially called to the deli to investigate reports of a burglary. They say they searched the area to see where the suspect entered and discovered that the roof of Clara House Bar & Grill, which is now vacant, had collapsed.
Officials then evacuated the deli because they say the walls are weak, and they're concerned that the structures could collapse. There is no word on when exactly the roof of the restaurant caved in.
No injuries have been reported.
