Rockland condemns Putin's invasion as support grows across Hudson Valley for Ukraine

The Rockland County Legislature voted unanimously to condemn Vladimir Putin's invasion of the independent nation of Ukraine.

Support for the victims of the Russian invasion is growing across the Hudson Valley
Parishioners came together Tuesday night for a vigil at the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church in Ulster County.
They prayed for peace and the safety of people in Ukraine, around Europe and around the world.
Meanwhile, the Rockland County Legislature voted unanimously to condemn Vladimir Putin's invasion of the independent nation of Ukraine.
A special resolution was introduced and immediately adopted. "The Ukrainian people have shown incredible resilience, refusing to back down or lay down their arms despite being outnumbered and outgunned."
Another prayer service was held Wednesday evening at at the Putnam County Courthouse in Carmel.
