The President of Rockland Community College is out after less than a year on the job.
Dr. Lester Edgardo Sondres Rapolo and the board of trustees agreed to part ways.
A statement issued Friday night does not indicate a reason for the change.
The college, however, has been going through financial difficulties and its faculty voted no confidence in Rapolo's leadership.
Former college vice president Beth Coyle will become officer in charge.
