A recently retired Tuckahoe police lieutenant is helping fellow police officers relieve some of the stress they get on the job.
Peggy Belles is the instructor at "Yoga Haven" across the street from the Tuckahoe Police Station.
Belles served on the police force for 21 years before retiring.
Now, officers from across the Hudson Valley are releasing stress in her classes.
"They need it to be able to survive this career," Belles says. "If they are at peace, the public and community that they're serving is so much better served."
Belles credits yoga for helping her balance life and a career in law enforcement.
