Many people expressed outrage Sunday night over what appeared to be a discriminatory job advertisement in a West Haverstraw newspaper.
The advertisement from Interim Healthcare in the Penny Saver publication said it was looking for a laid back, female nurse, but "no Haitians."
News 12 attempted to contact the company, but they did not respond.
On Sunday, Sen. David Carlucci issued a statement that said, ""I am outraged at this blatant form of employment discrimination. This company should be ashamed of itself, and Pennysaver should strongly reconsider running any job postings from Interim Healthcare in future publications"
