This Father's Day will be a busy one for businesses, but not quite as busy as Mother's Day.
The National Retail Federation says it expects Americans to spend $20 billion on celebrating fathers this month.
MORE:
That's on par with last year's record-setting figure but less than the nearly $32 billion people were expected to spend on Mother's Day this year.
The NRF says consumers will still dig deep in their pockets for dear old dad.
Seventy-six percent of adults say they will celebrate father's day and they plan to spend on average $172 to honor the men in their lives.
Father's Day is Sunday, June 19.
