A longtime member of Ramapo Town Hall and a retired educator has died of complications from the coronavirus.       

Phil Tisi passed away earlier this week.

Over the past 20 years, he had served in various positions in Ramapo including deputy supervisor, interim supervisor and communications director.

He was also educator at Suffern High School for 40 years.

Tisi was 72 years old.
