Protesters gathered in White Plains to speak out against a company they say is funding a massive new police training compound that will destroy the environment.
Community advocates from Stop Cop City Protests are calling out real estate companies Invesco and Greenberg Traurig, which have offices in Westchester County.
Protesters are urging the companies to stop funding the Atlanta Police Foundation, which is developing the new building in Georgia.
Opponents took to the streets near White Plains Metro-North train station Wednesday.
Advocates say the Atlanta Police Foundation is also violating acts that protect the Weelaunee Forest to make the building.
