News 12’s Katerina Belales is in the Alert Center tracking gas prices throughout the Hudson Valley.

The average price for a gallon of regular gas in the U.S. was $3.50 on Sunday, which is lower than last week, according to AAA.

In New York State is a bit higher averaging at $3.75  

Gas in Westchester is $3.86 a gallon. Rockland County is sitting at $3.81 a gallon. In Dutchess County, it’s a few cents less at $3.70.

AAA says gas is always cheaper in the fall with prices continuing to drop as we head closer to the holidays.
