Dozens of professors protested in front of the Westchester County Center Thursday while around 2,000 students graduated inside the venue.
The protesters say they have been working at Westchester Community College without a contract for five years.
They say they were not able to reach an agreement with college officials at their latest mediation session earlier this month.
At issue is compensation and job security.
