Pre-K students in the East Ramapo School District got a first-hand look this week at what it's like to be in kindergarten.

It's all part of the district's 'Week of the Young Child' celebration. Students from Spring Valley Head Start visited kindergarten classes in the East Ramapo Early Childhood Center. 

The youngsters joined the older kids in some regular activities. The kids were able to see what school will be like for them next year. They even got to draw pictures of what they want to be when they grow up.

The 'Week of the Young Child' is an annual celebration sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
