Residents in Mount Vernon are sounding the alarm about a brazen porch pirate.
They say it happened at 136 Bruce Ave. in the Fleetwood section, around 12:30 p.m. last Friday.
Video shows a FedEx worker dropping off a package.
A man in a yellow vest is seen grabbing the package like he's going to bring it inside, and then instead, just takes off with it.
"Nothing like this ever happened, I don't have any problem with Amazon, UPS, this is a first," said the woman who ordered the package.
She says she got a notification that the package- which had five iPhones and one Samsung phone in it, was delivered.
"When I went home, the package was not there, I looked all over in the backyard, front yard, the side yard, and didn't see the package, so I went to the camera."
Her landlord, Mark Fairclough, grabbed the footage for her.
"When I checked the camera, it was unbelievable. I've never seen anything like that. It's mind boggling, they must be working together," said Fairclough.
The package's owner thinks the same thing.
"It looks like they're tag teaming, they're working together to take my package," she said.
She says she reached out to FedEx that day.
"The manager stated a similar incident happened in the Bronx that same day," she said.
She is also filed a report with Mount Vernon police. Anyone who recognizes the man in the video is asked to get in touch with police.
