Newburgh man gets 9 years for selling cocaine to undercover officer

A drug dealer in Orange County has been sentenced to nine years in prison for selling cocaine to an undercover officer.

Ronald Davis sold a large quantity of cocaine in Newburgh last October, according to the Orange County district attorney.

Police later searched his home and found a loaded handgun along with more drugs.

Davis pleaded guilty to criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a weapon.

He was sentenced Tuesday.
