yesterdayA smoke shop in Yonkers has been forced to shut down after police say they got a tip that marijuana was being sold to kids.
2B Main Street in Getty Square has been under investigation since the tip came in.
Investigators say they confiscated large amounts of unpermitted loose marijuana, packaged marijuana, THC edibles, THC vapes and flavored nicotine vapes.
Officials say some of the packaging may be appealing to kids, as some of the labels had cartoon graphics and had kid-like names like "Ice Cream Cake."
The store was shut down for building code violations.
