A woman has been stabbed to death in Yonkers, according to police.

Yonkers detectives say the stabbing occurred at 53 Glenwood Ave. near Warburton Avenue around 5 a.m. today.

Police say they arrived to find a naked male on the street. He was taken into custody and was later identified as a 49-year-old resident of the address. The male suspect is currently in custody at a hospital, where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police later found the dead victim inside an apartment on the third floor. The victim appeared to have sustained multiple stab wounds.

Officials have not identified the victim, but a source tells News12 says she is a woman in her 40s. They believe the two had some kind of longstanding relationship.
