Orangetown police are on the hunt for two thieves after a convenience store robbery.
The suspects allegedly broke into the Pearl River convenience store on New Year's Eve, dragged an ATM outside and broke it open. They allegedly took off with the cash, along with 20 cartons of cigarettes.
"They were organized," said Donald Butterworth, of the Orangetown police. "They knew what they were doing. How widespread this group itself may be, there's two males involved in this that we are aware of. Whether there's more, we're not sure yet."
Police are asking anyone with information on the burglary to contact Orangetown police detectives.
