An 18-year-old in Mount Vernon is dead and police are looking into whether the boy stabbed himself.

Police say Riccardo Rowe was stabbed in the chest at his girlfriend's home. He also had other superficial knife wounds. According to News 12 Westchester sources, the girlfriend told police he took a knife and stabbed himself in the heart.

Cops responded to the home on South 13th Street just before 2 a.m. Wednesday after getting a call from the girlfriend, who lives at the home with her family.
