Police say a pedestrian was struck by a car in Edgemont Friday evening.

Police say a pedestrian was struck by a car in Edgemont Friday evening.
They say officers responded to Fort Hill Road Road south of where it intersects with Underhill Road just after 6 p.m.
Officials say the 67-year-old woman from Edgemont was struck by a car turning onto Fort Hill Road from Underhill Road.
She was taken to Westchester Medical Center. Police say the 49-year-old driver stopped and called officers.
No one in the car was injured. Greenburgh police say town officials are considering a proposal to build a sidewalk on Fort Hill Road from Underhill Road to Longview Drive.
