Ossining police say a man is charged with possession of a controlled substance and endangering the welfare of a child stemming from an incident last week.

Ossining police say a man is charged with possession of a controlled substance and endangering the welfare of a child stemming from an incident last week.
Town police say 63-year-old John Bertelucci was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and endangering the welfare of a child.
Police say the incident happened last Thursday at a house on Hamilton Avenue.
A woman and her daughter went to check on a resident, and there was a confrontation with Bertelucci. He allegedly kicked a 13-year-old girl in the back, forcing her to fall down the stairs.
She was treated at the scene.
Later on, police say they found a crack pipe on Bertelucci.
After an appearance in court, he was released on his own recognizance.
