A Congers native and current police officer in the Bronx is turning to online workouts during the coronavirus pandemic.

Reps for Responders is a new nonprofit gym in New City for first responders and military.
"It's just to give first responders like a safe haven and military a place to go and build a community,” says Frank Voce, founder and owner of Reps for Responders.
Although the community has moved to online, there's still plenty of activities from Zoom workout classes to online support groups, all with one goal in mind.

"At the end of the day, it is to prevent any type of first responder suicide and help battle against any type of addiction, alcoholism, PTSD, anxiety, depression,” says Voce. “Action needs to be done and this is our statement and we're here to help.”
Something Voce says he knows about first-hand.
"I've been there before, in 2018, beginning of 2019 I had to fight my own demons. Working out was a huge outlet for me. I believe working out, eating healthy and psychotherapy is the best way to fight off any type of mental health issues," says Voce.
