A Middletown man is currently in Orange County Jail accused of stabbing a 32-year-old man from Ellenville in the neck.

According to police, Paul Washington attacked the victim at Whispers Cocktail Lounge in Wallkill on Saturday.

The victim was swiftly transported to the hospital for treatment. Washington now faces several charges, including assault.

This incident comes weeks after shots were fired at the same lounge, resulting in three people being injured.
