Police identify elderly woman struck and dragged by bus

Police say Teresa Estrada-Geranis was in a parking lot when the bus, from her own adult daycare program, hit her on New Hempstead Road in New City.

Police have released the identity of the elderly woman killed after she was struck and dragged by a bus on Wednesday.
Police say Teresa Estrada-Geranis was in a parking lot when the bus, from her own adult day care program, hit her on New Hempstead Road in New City.
The 73-year-old died from her injuries.
No charges have been filed as officers continue their investigation.
