Police hoping surveillance photos identify armed robbery suspect

Investigators say the suspect brandished what appeared to be a weapon before pressing it into the back of the cashier inside the Stewart’s Shop.

Police in the Town of Newburgh are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect wanted for an armed robbery at a shop on South Plank Road. Officials say it happened in March.
Investigators say the suspect brandished what appeared to be a weapon before pressing it into the back of the cashier inside the Stewart’s Shop.
The suspect fled the scene with stolen cash and Newport cigarettes.
