A Fishkill man accused of stealing a bike worth around $2,900 from a child was arrested earlier this week, according to police.
Authorities say a boy from Philipstown was riding the bike near North Highlands Town Park to go fishing when it was taken.
Roy J. Bishop was identified as the suspect during the investigation.
Police say he admitted to stealing the bike and was then charged with grand larceny.
