Police: 4 arrested in man’s slaying in Chester

Authorities say four suspects have been arrested in the Dec. 18 death of 28-year old Michael Partridge, of Chester.

Authorities say four suspects have been arrested in the Dec. 18 death of 28-year old Michael Partridge, of Chester.
State police say Partridge’s body was discovered by a passing motorist Wednesday night on North Hudson Street in the village of Chester.

Partridge was found badly beaten and bound. He was transported to Orange Regional Medical Center when he succumbed to his injuries.
A press release confirmed all four defendants were charged with second-degree murder. They were arraigned in town of Wallkill Court and remanded at Orange County Jail with no bail.
The suspects were identified as Seth Pelsang, 30, of Goshen; Timothy D. Smith, 36, of Goshen; Courtney Clemenza, 31, of Chester; and Robert Haskell, 54, of Goshen. They are scheduled to return to the Town of Goshen Court on Dec. 24 at 3 p.m., as stated in the document.
State police are asking anyone with information to call 845-344-5300. Although this is an ongoing investigation, authorities believe it’s isolated situation and the public is not in danger.
