A total of 32 suspects were arrested Wednesday in a major drug sweep in Mount Vernon.
The suspects are accused of selling narcotics, and police say many of them are notorious gang members with violent criminal histories.
The group has been charged with illegal drug sales. They are facing charges of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a Class B felony.
Police say they were selling heroin, cocaine and prescription pills.
The 10-month investigation was conducted by the Mount Vernon Police Department and Westchester County police, along with assistance from the FBI.
Police say they are seeking eight more arrests, and they expect additional arrests to come soon.
