More drugs are off the street thanks to a K-9 team in Orange County.

Officers for the Town of Warwick seized 250 bags of heroin.

The discovery came during a traffic stop on Route 94 in the village of Florida.

Police say the plastic bags were hidden under the hood of the car in the engine compartment.

Steven Scalisi and Tiffany Reed, both 23, were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

They were taken to jail and are being held on cash bail.
