A 24-year-old man was stabbed Friday in New Windsor and led to the arrests of two suspects, police say.
Police say officers responded to Silver Stream Village at 1:21 p.m. and found the victim bleeding from his face and right hand. He was taken to St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital.
Authorities determined that the victim “had been engaged in a violent encounter with two other males."
Police say 59-year-old Steven Gordon and 67-year-old John Maines were arrested after a search warrant was executed at Silver Stream Village at 16 Bivona Lane. Police say they found the knife that was used in the stabbing, along with crack-cocaine.
The two suspects were taken to Orange County Jail, according to authorities.
