A 1-year-old injured in a Yorktown car crash was in the backseat and not in a car seat, according to authorities.

A 1-year-old injured in a Yorktown car crash was in the backseat and not in a car seat, according to authorities.
Yorktown police responded to the scene on Route 6 just before midnight on Sunday.
They say a 1-year-old child was in the back seat, in a seat belt, and was cut near his mouth. He was taken to the Westchester Medical Center.
Osgual Omar Romero-Godoy, 20, is now facing more than half a dozen charges, including DWI and child endangerment. He was released on his own recognizance following an arraignment.
