Thousands of people flocked to Playland Friday to participate in the park's 42nd annual Day at Playland for People with Disabilities.
The event was made possible by the combined efforts of Westchester County and the Tommie Cares Foundation, an organization that seeks to build community, possibility, compassion and understanding through inclusive, real-life adventures for those with physical or developmental needs.
Attendees could enjoy the park's games, rollercoasters, haunted houses and food.
