A weekend wildfire that prompted a massive response from 19 fire departments is now 99% contained, officials said.

More than 100 firefighters battled the blaze, which started in Plattekill and spread to neighboring Marlboro. Two firefighters suffered minor injuries but are expected to recover.

Although evacuation orders were never issued, authorities warn that smoke drifting into Westchester may affect air quality and visibility. Residents with respiratory issues are advised to limit outdoor activities.
