A Jeep hybrid went up in flames Monday afternoon while parked next to a home in Mamaroneck.
Fire officials say crews responded quickly and were able to extinguish the fire before it spread to the house or nearby buildings.
The inside of the Jeep was nearly melted away, with the entire vehicle left blackened and charred.
No one was hurt, and there's no word yet on what caused the fire.
