A proposition to build a skate park in Greenwood Lake is picking up speed.

The park would be built at an undeveloped site at Ben Winstanley Park on Windermere Avenue.

Plans include dedicating the park to Dale Hirrel, who died last year in a car accident.

Greenwood Mayor Jesse Dwyer says the village supports the proposition and that plans are expected to be reviewed later this month.
