The person accused of creating a series of pizza-themed graffiti on restaurants around Westchester County has been arrested.
New Rochelle police say Yonkers resident Daniel Henderson, 42, was arrested on Dec. 27 in connection with the "one slice please" graffiti movement.
The artwork started appearing on pizza shops and Italian restaurants back in 2023. The graffiti includes a slice of pizza or the slogan, "one slice please."
More than a dozen businesses were hit around Westchester County.
Henderson has been charged with three counts of making graffiti.
In an exclusive interview with News 12, Henderson says there was no ill intent behind the graffiti. He says the locations were picked randomly. He calls himself a "pizza fanatic."
“Honestly, just an artist expressing myself," says Henderson.
Some of the victims tell News 12 they've kept the graffiti up and don't believe Henderson should be charged.
“When you told me they arrested him, I was like 'Why?' I mean he’s an artist," says Angelo Deluca, owner of Pizza Barn in Yonkers.

Officers with New Rochelle police say bottom line, it's against the law.
“It is a New York state penal law violation. You can't markup other people’s properties at your own will," says Capt. J. Collins Coyne, with New Rochelle police.
