After taking a little over a month off, the Hudson Valley's very own Pizza Banksy is back just in time for the holidays. The infamous graffiti artist known for the pizza slice graffiti that we're looking at right now on several local pizzerias has actually targeted Westchester's Own Hawthorne pizzeria on Elwood Drive. Now, prior to Hawthorne, the pizza graffiti artist hit Yonkers early October at Pepe's Pizza on Central Park Avenue.

Well, the infamous pizza bandit is back. The graffiti artist known for spray painting a slice on local pizzerias hit the famous Pepe's pizza in Yonkers along Central Park Avenue. At least a dozen Westchester based pizzerias have been tagged by this artist over the past several months.

Of another Yonkers pizza shop say they too now have a new pizza slice. Graffiti owners of Bela Rosa Pizza on Han Avenue say their customers are loving their new art. They discovered it last Thursday morning meaning it was likely painted during the same overnight period as that last reported slice of graffiti at Pizza Pizza on Warburton Avenue. As news 12 reported the graffiti artist was caught there on surveillance camera. Berosa is now the ninth Westchester Pizza shop to have been tagged with the now famous slice rendering.

We also have an exclusive update to a story we've been following for you right here on News 12. The Westchester Pizza graffiti artist seen for the first time on surveillance video, take a look. The owner of Pizza Pizza on Warburton Avenue in Yonkers reached out to News 12 and shared this video exclusively with us showing us the artist in the act. He says this video was recorded just before two this morning. This happens to be the eighth Westchester Pizza shop to be adorned with a slice of graffiti. Stay with News 12. A pizza place in Larchmont is the latest to bear the work of a cereal graffiti artist or vandal depending how you look at it. Nicky's Pizzeria restaurant on Chatsworth Avenue now owns a spray painted pepperoni and green pepper slice. This vandal has already left behind that signature tag at six, at least six other pizza places. And if caught the artist could face criminal mischief charges, jail time or a fine.

Well, no matter which way you slice it art or vandalism. There is another pizzeria that's been tagged with a spray painted pizza slice. The vandal has already left behind several other painted pizzas at pizza businesses all over Westchester County and News 12. Karen Pinto has been looking into this. She brings us more on this latest spray painted slice at Roma two in Yonkers. This seems to be the vandal's signature pie. Check it out a pepperoni and green pepper slice. And here at Roma two, the owner says it's here to stay. He's a great artist. It's a cool painting. Folks coming in for slices at Roma two and Yonkers are pleasantly surprised by the new art on the way in the guys who like to season it pepper owner Frank Perry says he's a fan of the signature pepperoni and green pepper slice. I kind of like it. Obviously, it's like a tourist attraction. People come and take pictures. Roma two is one of several pizza places spray painted with a signature slice. As we've reported four corners. Pizza and Villagran got tagged in Pelham as well as pizzeria La Rosa and modern restaurant and lounge in a roll, cosimo and Johnny's in Eastchester has removed the graffiti since getting the likely first slice in late April. But here at Roma two Perry says he thinks the art will stay. I actually get a shield on. So you folks in the area are happy with that decision. It gives character to the piece of I wouldn't consider it vandalism. This is a very beautiful piece. It makes a statement. Vandalism of private property is illegal and the vandal could face fines or criminal charges. But for now folks in the neighborhood tell me they're going to be on the lookout for his next target in Yonkers. Karen Pinto News 12.
