More than a dozen people needed to be rescued after a boating accident in Alpine, New Jersey early Monday morning, according to officials.
Divers needed to be deployed due to low tide.
The Piermont Fire Department assisted in the search for a second disabled vessel, which was part of the same group, and located it a quarter mile north of the George Washington Bridge shipping channel.
The seven people from the second vessel were taken back to shore safely.
